Please submit your resume and the short essay in order to facilitate enrollment procedures upon ironing out the details of program planning. Social Studies and Language teachers are urged to apply. The rigorous immersion program will improve language and cultural proficiencies. Heritage speakers (those who already speak the target language) will focus on effective teaching strategies and help their colleagues acquire the language. We are looking for teachers in all subject areas.
NotesStudent programs will constitute a practicum for the teachers. At first, Teachers observe classes to gain hands on experience. Second, teachers will have the opportunities to apply lesson plans (in their respective languages) and refine teaching strategies taught in the seminars.
Classes are mainstreamed and geared towards individualized instruction. They include all challenged children as well as regular or gifted participants. (Several visually and hearing impaired, autistic and physically impaired are planning to apply for the program. Children from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply)
Professors and presenters are prestigious educators from the United States and abroad
